Widya Mataram University (UWM) has entered into an MoU or cooperation agreement with Greatnusa Binus which is under Bina Nusantara University some time ago in Jakarta. On Tuesday (10/10) at the Great Pendopo, UWM Integrated Campus, both institutions, namely UWM and GN, held a Talkshow on Career Freedom in the Digital World which presented Yogyakarta Palace Penghageng GKR Mangkubumi, Deputy Secretary of the Foundation Dr. Inge Gunawan, Prof Firdaus Alamsjah PhD Director of Binus Creates, and Anindita Kanya P, People Acquisition & Business Partner Lead and moderator Robby Susanto (VP Product and Partnership GreatNusa).
After the event was over, a meeting was held between GN and UWM, the discussion from UWM was attended by Penghageng Keraton Yogyakarta and Treasurer of the Mataram Foundation GKR Mangkubumi, Deputy Secretary of the Foundation Dr Inge Gunawan, Chancellor of UWM Prof Edy Suandi Hamid, and from Binus led by Prof Firdaus Alamsjah PhD (Director of Binus Creates), Robby Susanto (VP Product and Partnership GreatNusa), Nita Felia Pambudi (Chief Operating Officer), and Marisca Revani Putri (head of learning Development Program & QC).
In the discussion, the possibility of implementing cooperation (MoA) to build a business unit at UWM was discussed, as well as carrying out training related to the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM), as well as providing courses and training to MSMEs in Yogyakarta and students in general. “This discussion needs to be realized immediately to implement activities,” said GKR Mangkubumi.
As is known, Greatnusa Binus is an online learning portal with a vision to foster and empower the community through access to learning anywhere and anytime for learners until the end of their lives. Greatnusa provides various practical courses, using qualified experts, which adapt to existing needs in society. “We have previously participated in activities from Greatnusa and also held joint activities. “Hopefully this discussion, which was attended directly by elements of the Mataram Foundation, can result in a more realistic implementation,” said UWM Chancellor Prof. Edy Suandi Hamid.
After the meeting, the Director of Binus Creates, Prof. Firdaus Alamsjah, gave his book entitled “Digital Transformation: Building Strategic Differentiation and Organizational Agility against Disruption” to Dr. GKR Mangkubumi, Dr. Inge Gunawan, and Prof. Edy Suandi Hamid. “Hopefully this book is useful and can provide inspiration,” said Prof. Firdaus Alamsjah.
